What is Auction
This adult-only event is a fun way to help our students, teachers, and staff at North Hi Mount Elementary. Come back to this site often to watch for additions. Help the PTA in creating amazing opportunities for our Eager Eagles.
Why Auction is Important
Our award-winning school has a thriving PTA who serves the NHM faculty, staff, and children. Our school improves every year, thankfully, in large part to those in the community who are helping reach our goals. Upcoming major school improvements on our wishlist include a walking track and turfed soccer field near the playground to support health and fitness, a covered walkway from the portable classrooms to the main building to keep our kids and teachers protected in the rain, and upgraded fencing and gates around the school’s perimeter to keep our community safe.

The NHM Auction raises money for our students through sponsorships and donated items that are auctioned off in a fun, adult event. WE NEED EVERY LITTLE BIT. You can purchase an item to donate, ask for donations from local business owners who want to support our school and promote their business, or your business can donate or sponsor. Sponsorships are an integral part of meeting our fundraising goal way through the NHM Auction. They also allow NHM to support our local community by advertising for businesses that make our town successful and unique. Would you consider serving as a funding sponsor for the NHM Auction? FAR OUT! $3000 Reserved table for 6 at event*, company logo on photo backdrop at event + all levels.
FUNKY $2000 Sponsored class photo, reserved table at event* + Groovy & Disco levels.
GROOVY $1000 Personalized thank you gift from a class + Disco level.
DISCO $500 Business logo on PTA emails for a year with 600+ membership, including five social media blasts.
Donation Opportunities
This year, our goal is to raise $60,000. Donations are an important part of raising funds, and we need donations from a wide range of monetary values to make this happen. Nothing is too small or too big, too invaluable or too valuable. Auction participants bid on your donations in the live and silent auction, and the proceeds go towards our wonderful school. Would you consider donating an item, service, or experience to our NHM Auction? February 9, 2024. Here are some donations that have proved successful in bringing in funds in the past, but we are open to anything you have to bring to the table:
Food items: promise of a custom cake or burger party
Self Care Services: spa, hair, nails, float, tutoring, therapy, optometrist appointment, personal training, dental appointment
Experiences: tastings, painting parties, dinner parties, concert tickets, sporting events, classes
Vacations: timeshares, airline miles
Electronics: TVs, gaming consoles, Oculus
Valuables: art, signed memorabilia, vintage jewelry
Crafts: crochet or knitted items
Anything fun and creative that you can think of!

There are so many ways to raise funds during auction (silent auction, live auction, raffle baskets, donate items, sponsor, volunteer, etc.), but the EASIEST way is to just donate money and share this link to friends and family so they can donate money. Purchase as many $1 Raffle Basket tickets for your chance to win for your Eagle. Look at all the cool themes! Plus there are several other raffle items at various prices to check out this year. This is a great was to spend a little, help a lot, and have a chance to win big.
2023 Results:
We raised over $56,000 at our “Top Gun” themed Auction at Blue Mesa, and we had a blast doing it. We were able to purchase a book vending machine where the kids earn tokens to get a book of their choice, fund numerous school programs and supplies, and start the process of bringing our dream turfed soccer field and track to life.
2022 Results:
$81,000!!!! Yes, you are reading that correctly. With a goal of raising $45,000, our community rallied together and almost DOUBLED that at our 2022 "Welcome to the Jungle" Auction. Huge THANK YOU to every donor, sponsor, attendee, bidder, supporter, student, teacher, staff member, volunteer, family, neighbor and friend for being a part of our most successful NHM Auction yet!!!!
2021 Results:
We had AMAZING support from our families, donors, and community. Our goal was $25,000, but we raised a whopping $45,000! We are so appreciative of your generosity. The funds went towards upgrades such as new library furniture and supplies, a new playground gate, outdoor benches, picnic tables with umbrellas, and more.
2020 Results:
Thanks to the generosity of our bidders and people like you who sponsored the event or donated, we were able to provide 52 Chromebooks to families in need for virtual learning.
Our award-winning school has a young PTA that serves the NHM faculty, staff, and students. Our school improves each year, thankfully, in large part, to those in the community that are helping us reach our goals so that our students continue to thrive and grow. Since 2011, NHM has gone from under-populated to overpopulated because of the shift in culture, mission, and vision. This is making an impact in the community around our school, your community.
