An Author Visit to Remember
Award-Winning Children's Book Author, Susan Stevens Crummel, brightened our school on May 22nd with her vibrant presentations to the entire student body! For the Pre-K through 2nd graders, she read stories, acted out scenes with the students and her favorite props, and inspired them to use their imagination every day. For our 3rd through 5th graders, it was all about the book writing process, how stories come to life, and sending them off into the summer with a thirst for reading, writing and drawing. She signed over a hundred books for the kids, with proceeds benefiting our North Hi Mount PTA. Thank you for such a memorable day! Oh, and did we mention she's a North Hi Mount Grandmother?!
