Summer 2017 PTA Board Retreat

Happy Summer, North Hi Mount friends! While the kids are out and camps are in full swing, our PTA Board gathered this past week for a half-day planning session where we talked about our successes and lessons learned from the 2016-2017 school year, brainstormed new ideas, and looked ahead at a promising new year. 

Our PTA has seen so much growth over the past five years, and this year we welcomed over 20 board members (10 of them being on the executive board). The 2017-2018 school year executive board positions include

  • Courtney Summers, VP Communications
  • CJ Evans, VP Fundraising

We not only reviewed the entire upcoming school year calendar with North Hi Mount principal, Mr. Todd Koppes, and our key teacher PTA liaisons, but brainstormed ideas for how to take our fundraising to the next level, how to improve upon our communication to other parents, increase membership and provide the best learning environment for our children. 

If you are a North Hi Mount parent looking to get involved, we'd love your support! Whether it's in a leadership role or simply becoming a member, the more involvement we have from parents and our community the more it benefits our kiddos.
