At Chess Club (formally Math Club), Eager Eagles explore math concepts in a fun and relaxing environment. This fall we will dive deeper into math principles through the game of chess.

For the 2018 Fall Semester, Chess Club will meet on Mondays (October 22, 29, November 5, 12, 26, and December 3 from 3:00pm - 3:45pm).  Sign up details will be sent home in students’ folders in early October.  Spring 2019 Chess Club dates are February 25, March 4 and 18 and April 1, 8 and 15. 

The North Hi Mount Chess Club is open to 1st -5th graders.  Kindergartners are welcome to come if accompanied by adult.

Chess Club is sponsored by the North Hi Mount PTA and led by math and chess enthusiasts Jennifer Wagner and CJ Evans. If you think your child may be interested in joining us, please email CJ or Jennifer. Official signups begin in early October. We are also looking for some amazing volunteers and parent helpers, so please let CJ or Jennifer know if you'd be willing to volunteer!
