2021 FUN WALKATHON FUNDRAISING IDEAS

Walkathon fall fundraising is in full swing — October 1 - 15, 2021 and you might be wondering how to handle this. All fundraising is online at BidPal, with prizes for the top fundraising classes and grade levels, but first register by texting NHM2021 to 243-725.

Would your Eagle love a zombie tag party (for classes raising $500 or more)? Or three water balloons to toss at a staff member at the October 15th, 5-8 PM Carnival (for classes raising $1,000 or more)? Maybe they're hoping to be the TOP fundraising class and participate in the pumpkin painting party, or they're a free spirit with their eye on the free dress day going to the TOP fundraising grade. 

I've found that neighbors, grandparents, and extended family like to be asked – and thanked! – to support our school. Here are a few ideas about how to make that happen: 

The New Style: kid-written sign + email/social media post 

Super easy, super cute: Help your Eagle make a sign that says, "Please support my class as we lace up our sneakers and run laps to raise $ for our school!" Snap a pic. Share this photo, the teacher you're supporting, and a link to BidPal with friends and family, wherever they may be. 

The Old Fashioned: donation box 

Help your student decorate a shoebox, set it up at work, and collect small cash donations for your Eagle. Bonus points if your coworker makes a reference to Ted Lasso and Nate's decorated suggestion box! Sum up the cash and make an online donation to the class for the same amount. 

The Easy Peasy: online donation 

If every student raised $40, we'd exceed our fall fundraising goal. Maybe you're in a phase where you have more money than time, and you just want to click and be done? BidPal is the place to go.
