“After teaching for 21 years in both Austin and Fort Worth, I am thrilled to begin my counseling career at North Hi Mount this year! I am a proud graduate of the University of Texas in Austin where I majored in English and Elementary Education. I received my graduate degree in counseling from Amberton University.

My philosophy of school counseling includes building positive relationships with students from all of backgrounds, advocating for students' success both academically and socially, and collaborating with parents, teachers, and administrators. My goal is to empower students to achieve their highest potential.

In my spare time, I enjoy walking with friends, and hiking with my family. I have two grown children, two spoiled dogs, and one supportive husband.”
