IT TAKES A VILLAGE

The North Hi Mount PTA was fortunate enough to have not just one, but TWO amazing checks presented to our school at last night's General PTA Meeting.

Will Huffman, a top producer at Briggs Freeman Sotheby's and NHM dad, has a generous program where he will donate a large portion of his commission on his homes sold when you just mention North Hi Mount. It's that easy. PTA Board Member, Lori Diel, recently purchased her new home through Will and was alongside him at last night's meeting to present the check to the PTA for $1,700. Thank you to Will and the Diel family for your support.

The second check came to us from community member and local business owner, Samson Yosef. Mr. Samson, on behalf of 7-Eleven, has a vision for enriching the local schools through music and has chosen North Hi Mount to begin this journey. In conjunction with the $2,500 check he presented last night, he has donated dozens of violins to our school to begin our very first strings program. This program is looking to ramp up by the Fall of 2018 and will offer violin lessons to students of North Hi Mount, helping bring the arts to our community and enrich the lives of our students. Stay tuned for more details.

It takes a village to keep our programs, enrichment and initiatives going for these 400+ kids and families... and we love ours. Thank you to Will, Mr. Samson and all of our other generous donors and volunteers for everything you do.
