Do You Know Your School Times?

The first day of school is only weeks away, but do you know all of your times? When does that first bell ring? Is pre-k's school day over before the other grades? What time is lunch? All very good questions! Let's get you the answers. 

See below for all of the important times you need to know for the 2017-2018 school year.

SCHOOL TIMES

Arrival/ Dismissal
Passing bell: 7:55 a.m.
Tardy bell: 8:00 a.m.

 Pre-Kindergarten dismissal: 2:15 p.m.
 Kindergarten- Grade 5 dismissal: 3:00 p.m

Lunch Periods
Pre-Kindergarten
10:30- 11:00 a.m. 
10:35- 11:05 a.m. 

Kindergarten
10:40- 11:10 a.m. 
10:45- 11:15 a.m. 
10:50- 11:20 a.m. 

First Grade
10:55- 11:25 a.m. 
11:00- 11:30 a.m. 
11:05- 11:35 a.m. 

Second Grade
11:10- 11:40 a.m. 
11:15- 11:45 a.m. 
11:20- 11:50 a.m. 
 
Third Grade
11:25- 11:55 a.m.  
11:30- 12:00 p.m. 
11:35- 12:05 p.m. 
 
Fourth Grade
11:40- 12:20 p.m. 
11:45- 12:15 p.m. 
11:50- 12:20 p.m. 

Fifth Grade
11:55- 12:25 p.m.  
12:00- 12:30 p.m.

Remember, just because the bell rings at 7:55am doesn't mean you can pull up at 7:55 every time and your child will not be tardy. Please take into consideration parking, the carpool line, etc. Teachers usually open their doors at 7:45 to give kids a 10-minute window to arrive and get settled. If you think you will need childcare on a consistent basis before 7:45am, Clayton Yes! is a great option! It's our before and aftercare school program which takes place on our campus every Monday through Friday. Just make sure you contact them to get your kid(s) registered and coordinate payment as it is a separate cost.
