Welcome, and thank you for your interest in learning more about our PTA that serves the campus community of North Hi Mount Elementary School located in the heart of Fort Worth, Texas.

The North Hi Mount PTA will work to engage and empower children, families and educators to provide a quality education for all through volunteerism, organization and fundraising.

OUR PURPOSE
The purpose of the PTA is to support the faculty, staff and most importantly our students of North Hi Mount Elementary.

OUR GOALS

• COMMUNICATION: simplify and help families find the right place for questions.

• COLLABORATION: Increase our active volunteers to get more families engaged.

• CONNECTION: Work hand in hand with the Teachers and Staff. #1NorthHiMount

ADVOCACY
PTA is a proven champion for families at every level of policy-making. Help us back the future of Every Child with One Voice!

FAMILY ENGAGEMENT
Active and engaged families are the key to success for students, and PTA provides parents with the tools to make every child's potential a reality.

MEMBER PROGRAMS
Texas PTA assists PTAs in building their CommYOUnity through programs that promote student achievement, creativity and inclusiveness.

The teachers, administrators and staff at North Hi Mount Elementary are united in their belief that all children:

PTA INITIATIVES
Throughout the year (yes even the summer), the PTA is fast at work planning events that bring our community together, fundraisers that help improve our school and provide supplies for our teachers and classrooms and fun for all our North Hi Mount kids. Most recently, the PTA helped to raise necessary funds to build the Sport Court on the Playground.

Join a Committee
Consider lending a hand to the PTA by joining a committee. Members are free to serve on as many committees as they like.
 
Become a Room Parent
If field trips, class parties and special events for faculty are where you'd like to volunteer, consider signing up to be a Room Parent.

WHAT'S HAPPENING THIS YEAR?

Throughout the year, our PTA will communicate event details, changes and information via the free messaging app, GroupMe. Make sure you visit your app store on your phone to download this free application so you can be in the know! Email info@northhimountpta.org to get connected to our main thread called “NHM PTA Community” and/or committee and classroom groups.

PTA MEETINGS

The North Hi Mount PTA meets as a board every month and as a general group three or four times a year. Meetings are open to all NHM parents, faculty and community members. We encourage everyone who attends to please join the PTA (only $5.50 a year). In addition to the quarterly General PTA Meetings, the PTA Board meets monthly to discuss and plan upcoming events for the school and the community. Please contact us if you are interested in either joining the PTA and/or signing up for a committee or board position.

Are you a current PTA member looking for some key forms? We've got them! 
Please note on reimbursements, Zelle is now our preferred method to get you paid back. Check your online banking platform to see if it’s included as many are (Wells Fargo, Frost, etc). It’s free, fast and easy for everyone.
